Left the lovely campsite at Lake Powell after coping with the childish temperatures.  The stars were spectacular last night.

Drove a couple of hours to National Monument Park to look at all the Mesas and Buttes.  It's a very bumpy 17 mile circuit - it seems that all the parks/roads administered by the Native Indian Lands are quite badly maintained.  Great scenery and Zoe got to sit on a horse and mimic a picture from one or he many Western films made near here.

13 miles up the road we stopped briefly so Stuart could get a picture at the point where Forrest Gump stopped his running - great views of the Mesas.

Then on to our nice hotel in Bluff - balconies, views of eroded cliffs, large showers and comfy beds.  Bring on 5 nights of camping!
