Stopped off at Walmart for some supplies and then drove 89A down to Sedona - a beautiful road which drops through pine forests and then into desert foliage.  Sedona is surrounded by red rock (Schnebly sandstone) and is also associated with powerful energy vortex regions.  We visited the Chapel Of The Rock which is a church built into the cliffs.  Really pretty and peaceful.  Then drove to our campsite which is next to a stream and spring.  Decided to chill for the rest of the afternoon (and do laundry) and then had a campfire with popcorn and marshmallows in the evening.  Fell asleep to the sound of crickets and the flowing stream.
