A late start and took tram 5 to the mosque which was closed for prayer. Next to the museum of illusions, the Sofia Museum and on by tram and bus to the zoo. A very old style zoo and some of the animals were pacing in their small cages but they had a very impressive collection of big cats which we could view at very close quarters. It also had a nice backdrop of the mountain. Then took a bus and tram to the Chernovsky restaurant for some overpriced Bulgarian fare, all because we wanted to see some folk dancing. Lovely costumes and were once again dragged up to dance in a circle. Took a tram back.
