Set off via Žalec, a town surrounded by fields of hops and its own beer fountain. Drove an hour further to Maribor, Slovenia's 2nd city. Was expecting the terrain to flatten out but still hilly.

Cycled in along the Drava river and mooched around the city centre which was picturesque, very compact and surprisingly quiet. Grabbed an ice cream and a Burek for lunch.

Both exhausted so cycled back to the motorhome and got some much needed sleep.
