Disturbed night due to heat. Crossed the Wisconsin River and set off on another very windy drive and did 80 miles less on a tank of petrol than usual.  Got to the windy city at 3ish and felt like a fan oven at 37° and wind gusts almost knocked you over. Drove around the Polish area. Saw 2 cathedrals and had pierogi and bigos at "Pierogi kitchen". Had to question the authenticity of the bigos but it filled a hole. Next found a parking spot for the motorhome and took an Uber to the hotel for some welcome aircon and showers. Chilled for the rest of the evening as we've done a lot of driving lately .
