Had a nie breakfast (this is becoming a habit) and drove to the village of Luss on the West shore of Loch Lomond. Cycled 16 miles to Tarbet and back along the loch shore. Quite windy but no rain until the last couple of miles. Had fish and chips for lunch in Balloch and then drove to Dumbarton to look at the castle. Didn’t walk the 500 steps to the top.

The stopped at Geilston Garden, which has nice vegetable plots and a walled garden (must get one). Drove past Faslane nuclear submarine base and then back to our B&B.

Grabbed a Chinese from the local takeaway and chilled in our room for the evening.
