Drove down a lot of Highway 1 today, hugging the Pacific coast of California.

Stopped at two old lighthouses - Point Carrillo and Point Arena . A few sea lions but cloudy and windy.

Further down the coast it became sunny and we stopped at a small pebble beach which we had to ourselves. Cooked some lunch whilst being watched by doses lions and overflying pelicans.

Later we did a short walk at Point Reyes Park which takes you over the site of the San Andreas Fault where a fence was shifted 16 feet. Stood with one foot over each tectonic plate.

Finall on to our motel in San Rafael and a quick Chipotle dinner.
