A day of geysers.

Started off at Norris Basin with a 2.5 mile walk around a bunch of small geysers, mud pools and springs.  Interesting points about how different colours arise in the springs and also how acidic some of the pools are.

Then onto the main geyser basin around Old Faithful.  We were luck enough to see three geysers erupt - Lion, Beehive and Old Faithful.  Again, some interesting pools.  Got chased along the boardwalk by an over friendly Bison at one point - turns out he was just looking for a convenient place to cross.

Called into the Yellowstone Lodge for a coffee and watched Old Faithful erupt again whilst sat on the balcony of the Lodge - very nice.

Another long drive back out of the park, seeing Elk and Bison in many places.

Last day in Yellowstone tomorrow - we'll miss it but have managed to do almost everything and lucky to see all the wildlife that we have.
