Spent the Day in Bryce Canyon.

Started off with a 3 mile walk on the Navajo Loop and Queens Garden Trails.  Lots of steep slopes, red hoodoos and ground squirrels.  Beautiful sunshine - warm at the bottom of the canyon and breezy at the top.  The top section of the trail is like being in Tokyo - I guess the Japanese tourists only have time for a few minutes on their group itinerary so they stop after 100 yards of each trail.

Then stopped at lots of viewpoints on the way down to the end of the 18 mile scenic drive.  At the end, we did a mile walk on Bristlecomb Trail at 9,000 feet.  Great smells of pine forests and still a little snow on the ground.

In the evening we went to a cowboy show with food.  Nice to have proper food for.a change and the band played for 50 minutes or so, including some country songs that Zoe knew.  Their bass player had to leave halfway through when her water's broke!
