A good nights sleep outside Henry’s Bar and the owner kindly let us empty the waste into their manhole drains. Drove to the lookout at Mullaghmore Head and then onto to Donegal Town. A pretty town with nice shops and we visited the restored Castle on the river. Tried to stop at the Newmills corn and flax mills but it was shut on a Sunday, so on to Letterkenny but didn’t stop as big town with little character. Next, drove to Glenveagh National Park and cycled the two miles to and from the castle. Fairly new building, so in a good state of repair and the gardens were lovely to stroll around - jealous. Then an hour and a bit drive up the Inishowen peninsula and the very steep and narrow road over the Gap Of Mamore to a car park half way down the mountain with views over to the North Atlantic.
