Enjoyed a quiet night with no one else parked half way up the mountain. Drove on to Malin Head and walked around the most northern point of Ireland in the sea mist. Stopped briefly at a pebble beach which is meant to have semi precious stones washed up, but none that we could see. Then on for an afternoon in Derry after crossing the invisible border into Northern Ireland. Walked around the city walls, learning about the history of the 17th century siege and thrown down into the bogside area to look at the murals and memorials to Bloody Sunday and hunger strikes. A sad history. A brief stop in sainsburys to use some Bris it the money and then drove on to a sand dune parking spot at McGiligan head for hopefully another free night.
