Picked up by our guide and drove into Albania along the lake. Stopped in Pogradec for a coffee and a wander around the town. Guide very keen on pointing out how backward everything is compared to Macedonia. Then onto Korce for lunch and to look at the old and new buildings. Lots of people around as shopping on the internet hasn’t changed shopping habits.

Then over the mountains to lake Presbo to see some isolated villages that should be part of Macedonia but were given to Albania. Stopped at a granny’s house to see how she lives and at a small museum to the time of Hoxa.

Finally back into Macedonia and over a 1700m pass through the national park with spectacular views over both lakes.
