Had a leisurely breakfast and when temperatures started rising to 30° headed to the Bambados pool complex and spent the heat of the day there. Managed to swim 1km. All had too much sun and a tad burnt even with the umbrella out.

In the evening cycled into Bamberg for the jazz festival.

Finished the day watching the Olympics closing ceremony which unfortunately was just as bad as the opening. We came 7th (though we had the 3rd highest number of medals).
