Spent the morning servicing the motorhome and shopping and set off for Germany having crossed the whole Czech Republic from East to West.
Decided to stop in Bamberg and found a pitch about 5k from the old town. Cycled in. It was very picturesque but took a lot of effort climbing the hills in the 28 degree heat - energy sapping.
In the evening we headed to a square where they were holding a free jazz/blues festival and spent an enjoyable couple of hours drinking beer and listening to a group from New York whose lead singer sounded a lot like Tina Turner.
Cycled back and caught up with today's Olympics and the news we've overtaken France in the medals.
