Boy racers revving til the early hours meant we didn't get a great night's sleep and were awake by 6.30. Managed to get the 7.50 ferry (delayed due to industrial action by the French) still not knowing quite where we were going as weather in Europe is unsettled. Some parts of Germany had cars washed away in heavy rains 3 days ago. Finally decided on a stop in Felleries in the Parc naturel régional de l'Avesnois in the general direction of the Black Forest. Stuart managed to get some work done connected to the ship's weak WiFi. Getting connected will be an ongoing challenge on this trip.

After 6 hours of travel in total we relaxed in the peaceful Aire at Felleries (€15 per night). So good to lie in the sun. It's been such a long time!☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
