An uncomfortable night's sleep. Set off past sunflowers and corn fields and by 11 we were in Budapest. Drove through it to our city park up, a basic car park with electric, stopping at Tesco on the way for ice.
Fan-oven temperatures outside so after salad packed our stuff for the famous Szechenyi Spa Baths; a 20min walk through a park and we were there. A lovely grand old building. Very busy but after an hour we managed to find some loungers and stayed there til the evening when it got a lot quieter. It rained a bit which was quite nice whilst sitting in the warm thermal waters.
The rest of the evening was spent in the McDonald's next to our park up making the most of their air conditioning whilst Stuart did some marking.
Trying to figure out how to dodge the extreme heat tomorrow.
