Woke up to 360° low cloud.

Our boots were still wet so had to oven-dry them.

Were contemplating not going anywhere but looked at the mountain webcam and it didn't look too bad so caught the 10.30 bus up to Cadini de Misurina and set off on the trail to get some iconic mountain views. After half an hour were surrounded by cloud and it started to rain, so backtracked to the refugio. Waited a while and decided to do a hike we've done before, the Tre Cime, which has wider paths if the weather suddenly deteriorated.

Had every kind of weather on the hike - cloud, rain and sun and there was still snow on the ground in places. Stuart took Zoe’s stick (which she found in the Grand Tetons). Made it back to the bus stop at 4.30 quite exhausted. A hot bath is what we could both do with for our aching limbs but we won’t even have a shower because we’re staying in our spot for another night because it's free and has incredible views.
