Knackered!
Set off at 9 and caught the ferry to Wall Street. Walked to battery Park and queued for 59 minutes for our ferry to Liberty island. Decided not to get off at Statue of Liberty as good enough pics from boat and also gave Ellisnisland a miss because of queues. Memo to self - catch free Staten island ferry in future as it passes the statue!
Then walked to walk street and the 9/11 memorial, stopping for excellent pizza and a donut.
Meandered past city hall into Chinatown and Little Italy which was interesting. Then through Noho and Greenwich village (music in Washington park) to the south end of the High Line.
Walked the High Line again in the other direction and sunbathed for a while on the free wooden loungers. Decided not to catch the subway back, so walked across manhattan to the ferry terminal and caught one back to Greenpoint with beautiful nighttime views of the city.
Walked the short distance back to the Motorhome and collapsed after 26,000 steps.
