Left the boondock after not much sleep due to being woken up by a 4am phonecall. Drove into Ottowa and headed in by bike. Another very hot day. Walked through the park, around the parliament buildings, saw the locks, had a cheap Vietnamese lunch in the market, saw the Cathedral and a tour around the temporary parliament (renovations won't end til 2032). There was a gargoyle called Henry.  It's quite a compact old part. Next cycled back so Stuart could do some marking but the car park we were in was so noisy due to incompetent bridge design, drove to a park up in a fishing spot 18km outside Ottowa. Lovely spot and trested to another firefly display but also full of mozzies on the attack. Keeping cool is the challenge.
