Set off early to secure tickets on the boat tour down Waterton Lake to just past the US border. A very scenic trip with an informative tour guide - did you know a grizzlies claws are 4-6" long? After stopped briefly at Cameron falls then drove to red rock canyon. In 2017 there was a devastating wildfire which decimated the trees in the area in just one night and there were miles of dead trees all around but plenty of 4' regrowth and wildflowers . Walked around the canyon and to the waterfalls. On the drive back we were excited to spot a black bear with 2 cubs so watched those for a while. Back at the campsite did some washing.
