Watched ground squirrels eating dandelions for a while then set off for Banff to catch a tour to Lake Louise and Morraine Lake which can only be accessed by shuttle. Stopped en route to Banff to watch the long trains go through corkscrew tunnel. On the tour bus passed a grizzly with 2 cubs. Had an hour at each stunning lake at the hefty price of £90. We timed it right as Morraine Lake only opened to visitors 2 days sgo! Banff is a delightful ski town.
