Had a quite disturbed ight in our aunt - traffic including noisy lorries throughout the night, so woke early.
Drove on to Astoria for some shopping and inverter fuses and then crossed the Astoria-Megler Bridge (longest continuous truss bridge in North America) into Washington. A drive along the coast took us to Cape Deissapointment State Park and we sunbathed in clam, sunny weather on Waikiki beach for a few hours whilst being overlooked by a bald eagle and a nearby racoon.
A short drive to Ilwaco Harbour to look at the fishing fleet and then onto Long Beach which claims to be the longest beach in the world (sure there is a 100 mile beach that we went to in Oz). Had a nice Salk along the boardwalk and read about all of the shipwrecks.
Back to the State Park and Boz did the mile walk to the Lighthouse and then we parked up at the campsite for the night. Another evening walk on the beach near the site, to watch another sunset over the Pacific.
