Stayed fairly near the campsite today. Drove to the Botanical Gardens at Shore Acres State Park which sed to be the home of a timber baron - spectacular views from where the mansion used to be. Lots of newts in the ponds.

Revisited the seal lookout (still no orcas) and then walked down to the south beach at Cape Arago to watch some surfers but didn't stay long as the tie was in and therefore no real beach.

Drove back down to Bastendorff Beach and had a long walk in the wind and sun. So many nice beaches but the wind keeps people off them at this time of year.
