Had an ok night in the tent. Drove to the royal mile and then explored princes street gardens including seeing Wjotek the bear.

Quick look round St cuthberts church then up to royal mile which was framed with Fringe ticket sellers.

Went to the castle and took the the guided tour. Back to the car for a rest and then walked down to holy rood palace (closed).

Frankie and Bennys for dinner. Then the Tattoo which was spectacular (and dry).

Steph, Sammie an Henry arrived about 11:30pm and I picked them up from the railway station.
