Drove the 2.5 hours to our campsite at Fort Kamath in Western Oregon.  Set up tent and then drove up to Crater Lake.

The sky was almost cloudless and the lake very blue.  Whilst the roads were clear of snow, the banks of snow next to the road were about 20 feet in places!  They get over 45 feet of snow at Crater Lake each year.

Sat in rocking chairs outside the Crater Lake hotel in sunshine and had a coffee whilst looking over the lake.  Very decadent.

On the way back we came across a cowboy and sheepdog hoarding cattle along the road.  How very American.

Back to the campsite for noodles (yeah), a campfire and a bunch of large mozzies.
