Spent the day in Zion Canyon.  Got to the canyon about 10:30 but there had been a rock slide so the shuttle buses were delayed and we didn't start walking until gone midday.

Walked from "Big Bend" to "Weeping Rock" along the river which was beautiful.  Great views of all the cliffs and devoid of other tourists.

Then did the short walk to "Weeping Rock" where water from the top of the cliffs emerges and creates an ideal climate for hanging flowers.  Also saw a hummingbird feeding.

Finally after an ice cream at Zion Lodge, we did the two mile round trip to the lower and upper Emerald Falls where water has created two small ponds with connecting waterfalls.  A lovely place to cool off.  Saw a Whip Snake on the way back down - non-venomous.

Back at the camp site we had a nice swim in the pool.
