Started our day with a 3 hour walk around the North half of the Strip.  Venice/Palazzo Hotel was stunning with singing gondoliers in boats, canals, replicas of Venice buildings and endless shops.  Wynn hotel had great floral displays, musical fountains and big waterfalls.  Didn't think much of Treasure Island.  Mirage is OK.  Caesars Palace was huge with replica statues, a fire show and shops galore.  All of them had hundreds of slot machines (now all computerised) and other gambling opportunities.  Then spent a coupe of hours  by the pool sunbathing and cooling off.  In the evening we walked up to the Mirage to watch their Volcano show and the Bellagio to watch the fountain shows.  Sammie had the best description of the place - its Epcot for Adults. Finished off by playing black jack in the casino. Got to $40 up but ended $50 down.
