A late start. Walked around Breb village looking at the wooden houses with their ornate wooden gates. They also had pot trees. If there's a red pot on top there's a girl of marriageable age in the house and the more pots the greater the dowry. Another impressively painted iwooden church interiors and wooden crosses in the graveyard. Also stopped by a house whose refurbishment Prince Charles sponsored. Had a bowl of pork n veg soup in the only place open. Everyone in Breb has chickens it seems. There is a lot of building work going on (presumably to add more guesthouses) and with unchecked development they'll probably ruin the charm of the place that drew tourists there in the first place. Rain again.
