Left St Omer at 9 and drove to Calais hoping for a earlier crossing. They offered us 12 but whilst in the 12 o'clock queue someone flagged us over to the 10.30 ferry - result! The sea was like a millpond - could see hundreds of purple jelly fish. No "other" boats spotted despite favourable condition...
