After our stay at Bamberg we put the ticket in the payment machine it came up with 'kaput". Luckily service men were there emptying machines and they gave us a replacement ticket. The charge was €2.50 and who were we to argue.

Filled the water tank and left for a 745km journey west. In 35° heat an air conditioned vehicle is a good place to be but a 10 hour journey is tiring and Les grenuilles charged us over €80 to cross part of France on their roads - robbery!

Reached Val de Europe, a large air conditioned shopping mall and after waiting for air temperatures to cool a bit, set off for free parking spot next to a football pitch which seems very quiet.
