Today we did a lot of walking (11 miles) to the lake in Żywiec. It had a small sandy beach where we relaxed for a while.

On our return we stopped at the Karczma Żywiecka, a lovely thatched wooden restaurant. Had a delicious Polish meal of soups, pierogi and placki. Sadly the phone ran out of battery so couldn't get a photo of the tortoise shaped serving dish.
