Rainstorm and thunder this morning. In the afternoon took a walk to what I thought was Oskar Schindler's factory tour. Bit disappointed to find it wasn't an actual factory but a museum - interesting all the same.

Reminded me that my uncle Richard helped Polish soldiers escape the Soviets by passing civilian clothing through a hole in a cigarette factory wall in exchange for their uniforms and they would walk away in civilian clothing. My grandmother built up quite a collection of uniforms hidden in the house by the time they were deported. I'm sure there are many unsung heroes like him in the world.

Also reminded me Stephanie did a ballet to Itzhak Perlmans Schindler's List violin theme tune.

Walked through the Jewish quarter (complete with clarinetists) and stopped in the Mirror pierogi bistro. So many varieties to choose from - bilberry was delicious.

About 6k walked today.
