An 8.30 am departure from Titisee and 3.5 hours later we arrived in Wurzburg at the motorhome parking by the river Main (€15 per night).

After a bit of scrambled oeuf we got on the bikes and spent 5 hours exploring the town and have come to the conclusion that Wurzburg is Wunderbar !

In a valley surrounded by steep vineyards there's lots of interesting architecture and lovely gardens. Even the hospital was beautiful! Cycled as far as the botanical gardens and about 12 miles in total. Couldn't resist purchasing some locally produced honey - saw no fewer than 10 hives in a suburban garden!

Tried to eat al fresco but it started showering. Too tired to find a pub to watch the England games. May visit the Rezidenz tomorrow morning before moving on.
