Woke after a slightly disrupted night when the Gas bottle ran out at 1:30 in the morning. Changing a gas bottle by torch light is not easy. Drove up to Tre Cime nice and early and had a full English breakfast overlooking the valley in glorious sunshine. Then did the walk around the three columns – Boz went the whole way around and I turned round hallway and retraced my steps, thereby avoiding some steep drop off sections of the path. Once again stunning views but much bleaker than some of the other walks as it was all about 2200 metres. Very reminiscent of Monument Valley in the States with the scree at the base of all the buttes. Relaxed in chairs outside the Motorhome with lunch and then drove back to our “free” campsite for the night, stopping to look at a couple of lakes and have a coffee in a small restaurant by Lago Miseria.
