Left Lenk (could have spent another day) and headed off via Interlaken (again). Took the windy road up to the Susten Pass (road completed in 1948) which tops out at 2200 metres. Quite a drive with amazing views of peaks, glaciers and rivers. We were blessed with great weather and stopped for a coffee near the summit of the Pass. Then down the other side and through the 17km Gothard Tunnel (reached 33C in the middle) to the Italian part of Switzerland. Tried to stop in Bellinzona to look at the forts but couldn't find a suitable parking space. This part of Switzerland feels much more like Italy (unfinished, a bit messy and more noisy). Parked at the campsite and went for a short walk down to the river to get some exercise after sitting in the Motorhome for the best part of 4 hours.
