Is it really only this time last week that we boarded the plane to Canada?  Feels like a month.

Woke in our Airbnb - a basement in a home complete with games area.  The lucky teens who live here also have a boat docked off their back garden.

Both had a long soak in a bath last night which could be the last one for a very long time.

Checked all the documents were in order and set off at 8.15.  First stop the shipping company where we picked up various documents and also a German lady travelling solo who didn't have transport.  Then across Halifax to Canadian customs, then back across to the port where we donned high viz jackets,  handed over more documents and picked up the motorhome keys.  Checked the motorhome to make sure everything was intact and nothing stolen but were annoyed to find mouse droppings on the seats.  Unbelievable!  The official said they had mice on the ship.  Hope it hasn't gnawed through any cables!!

Headed to the airport to return the rental car, then went round in circles for a bit to find gas bottles, finally getting some at Mr Propane.  7 hours later we'd done all the necessities and drove to the campsite where we spent the late afternoon emptying all cupboards to ensure a mouse had not stowed away somewhere!

In other news, Stephanie saw a poster on the underground with Henry's face on it.
