Spent the day in the historic town of Williamsburg. They have recreated / refurbished the town from the 1700s when it was the capital of Virginia and ruled by the UK as a colony. The whole town is free to walk around but you buy a ticket to enter any of the buildings.

Lots of good stories and interesting history. They have people in costume telling you about how life was. Saw court house, governors palace, attorney’s house, capital building, tavern, etc. Listened to harpsichord music and pipe and drum parade.
