Left the campsite after admin, filling , emptying and meandered slowly around the coast road. So peaceful, and sparsely populated. The clapboard houses often have lobster nets stacked outside or boats in the drive and more often than not a view of an inlet. Passed lots of potato fields. Hoped to stop for lunch but both restaurants near Murray Harbour were closed and we had to turn around 3 times as the tarmac roads we were driving down turned into dirt tracks without warning. Finally found a food truck near the Woods Island ferry terminal. Had a look at the lighthouse before queuing for the ferry. Temperatures are slightly lower today. Boarded the MV Confederation and had a smooth 60 minute crossing. Then drove to the Walmart near Truro before getting to our park up by a small lake next to a French motorhome.
