First stop was Mt Moriah cemetery to visit the graves of "Calamity Jane" and "Wild Bill Hickok". Added some Calamity Jane tracks to the playlist and set off through the Black Hills of Dakota. Stopped at the Sitting Bull monument but at $30 entry decided viewing it from the distance would suffice. Next stop was the Wind Cave National Park. Unfortunately all tour tickets for today were gone so drove north an hour to our campsite in the Custer State Park. A lovely scenic winding road - very green with granite outcrops. Spotted bison, deer and lots of prairie dogs. Got to Central Lake campground but zero phone signal and Stuart had to get connected so drove to Legion Lake for a couple of hours. Thunderstorms in the evening. A lot of driving and lots of stress (from Wales!!) made for a tiring day.
