Started off the day with a nice walk alongside the Qualicum river looking at the Upper and Lower Qualicum Falls. Then drove to Nanaimo port via a couple of thrift stores. Caught the 2:40 ferry to Vancouver - a lovely smooth crossing with a sighting of one whale and maybe a porpoise.

Got off the ferry and drove the 20 minutes to the RV park where we are leaving the Motorhome for a week. Then an Uber into Downtown Vancouver and our apartment on the 7th floor of a tower with nice views. Luxury of a proper bed and bathrooms!

Went out for a meal at Earls restaurant to celebrate Boz's birthday - very nice.
