Drove an hour and a half through forests and by the deserted coast on 101. Every other vehicle is a lorry transporting logs.

The road to Hoh Rain Forest reopened yesterday so we drove on it into Olympic National Park and managed to nab a first come first served site at the campground.

Then walked two 1 mile circuits - Hall of Mosses and Spruce Nature Trail. It’s a temperate rain forest so lots of the trees are covered in moss and ferns - very different. So many shades of Green even us colour blind folk could see.

Back at the Motorhome we sunbathed and enjoyed the peace - only one other campsite occupied near us.
