Had a nice lie in as we didn’t have to change sites.

Drove to big tree loop and walked over a river via a fallen redwood to see Big tree and Flat Iron tree. 13 of the 100 tallest redwoods in this grove.

Then down to Roosevelt loop to see Giant tree (they are lacking imagination in their naming) and then sat by the south fork of the eel river for a while.

Back to our campsite for a nice fire and whittling a walking stick.
