A bit of a noisy night with local kids using the field as a race track. Left mid morning and stopped in Redding for food and petrol.

Drove route 299 westwards to the coast. The road follows the Trinity river for most of the way an is very picturesque. Lots of trees, a raging river and small village.

Reached route 101 and drove south a bit to Humbolt Redwoods state park to our campsite after over 4 hours of driving
