Had a leisurely departure from Zion and stopped a few times for shopping and supplies. Some magnificent scenery with steep cliffs following the Virgin river. Lots of Joshua trees along the way and also some big solar farms supplying Vegas.

Drove into. Gas from the north and down the strip as far as the Paris hotel. Found a parking lot behind the hotels, just a 10 minute walk to the Strip and with a view of the Sphere. Went out late in the evening to spend a little money in the casino and watch the bright lights.
