Had a quiet night apart from some rain and woke to a calm lake and brightening sky.

Drove north to Newport near the Canadian border in Vermont - Montreal is only 2 hours away. Walked round a farmers market, boardwalk and the old town.

Then onwards on Route 100 via farms and fall colours to Stowe. There was a blues band playing (to celebrate indigenous day) so we listened to them and then walked around the pretty town of Stowe.

Finally on to our Boon Dockers driveway on a very nice property just north of Stowe.
