Awoke at 7:00 so we could get to Bell Rock trail head and find a parking space. People start hiking early around here.

Hiked up a long way with rock scrambling and then sat in the warmth of the sun looking out at all the other red mountains. Took a circuitous route back down and had breakfast and chilled in the Motorhome for a bit.

Then drove north to Slide Rock State Park - an old 45 acre apple farm next to Oak Creek. The rocks have been worn smooth and even in mid March, people were sliding down the rocks in the creek. We watched and walked further up the canyon.

Back to the same BLM pitch for the night via McDonalds for electricity!
