Woke to see some deer and a beautiful blue sky. Drove down from the mountains and south to Rio Grande Village.


Decided to pop into Mexico via the crossing to Boquillas village which consists of a 20 second boat across the river and a half mile dusty walk into the village.


Had some goat tacos and beer and bought some souvenirs whilst donating to the little kids trying to sell trinkets. A hard life for them as border restrictions are much stricter and the nearest Mexican town is 160 miles away.


Back in the US, we checked into our campsite and then walked down to the river for a paddle. The. Up the 150 foot hill to watch the sunset.


In the evening, a herd of Javalinas walked into camp - pig like creatures but cute.
