Had a good night’s sleep with no bear attacks. Showered and grabbed some groceries from Lincoln before heading East and driving the Kancamagus Highway - renowned as the best route for fall colours in New England. Stopped at lots of lookouts, short trails and waterfalls. Very scenic.
Turned round at Conway and headed back along the same road to see some of the stops we’d missed when heading East. B be suited the last remaining homestead from the 1800s when there were many farms in the area. None left now and all reclaimed by nature.
Back to the campsite for the night.
