A good night’s sleep at Cracker Barrel and went to Eddies Wreckers for a propane top up - cold weather uses much gas!
Drove into New Orleans and parked up near a park about 5 minutes from Bourbon Street. Walked into the French Quarter and wandered the lively streets, catching beads to thrown from balconies.
A parade began at 2 with a high school marching band and loads of members of the Cork Krew. They hand out freebies and are all dressed garishly. Really good fun only slightly spoiled by having Boz’s phone pickpocketed. After reporting it to the police, we wandered back to the Motorhome.
Cycled out to the river to catch the Creole Queen paddle steamer for a 2 hour meal, jazz band, sail on the Mississippi for the evening. Good food and nice music.
Got back to the Motorhome about 9:30 and retired for a hopefully quiet night
