Left our boon docker driveway around 10 and planned to go to the airforce museum in Pensacola but if you are foreign, you aren’t allowed in without a US resident. So drove scenic bluff highway instead and then rejoined I10 to head into Alabama.
Stopped at a Bucees - a massive gas station chain with huge shop selling diverse wares. Bought some jerky and a whopper pie - way, way too sweet.
Then onto the USS Alabama museum. Visited the USS Alabama which is a WWII battleship which had 2500 crew. Good signed tours throughout the inside and outside of the ship. Served with HMS Belfast in the arctic. Also walked around USS Drum submarine also from WWII. Lots of planes including a massive B52.
Killed some time at a panda express and Target store as our church car park spot wasn’t available until 8:30.
